The rising star maintains considerable online audience
The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses multiple international courses and often plays against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she stated.
Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa practically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's quite busy."
While still amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and has position 461 in AJGA rankings.
Yet she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.
"He represents the best player globally," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to new audiences, especially with the next generation.
The social media influencer has millions of followers and just introduced a personal fashion and living label.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
